Assessments

It is an internationally recognized behavioral assessment tool used in more than 8,000 private and public sector organizations around the world. The Birkman Method® is a scientifically developed, multi-dimensional assessment designed to help clients achieve more at work and at home. It integrates behavioral, motivational and occupational data together to predict behavior and work satisfaction across situations. The Birkman Method® is the personality assessment for improving people skills and aligning roles and relationships for maximum productivity and success.

When assessment results impact the outcomes for workers and their organizations, the reliability and validity of the assessment is critically important.  Since 1951, Birkman has been committed to developing and delivering assessments that demonstrate both and adhere to the best practices as directed by organizational psychology.

The instrument takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Through a series of True/False and multiple-choice questions, clients have access to the following measures:

  • Usual Behavior – effective behavioral styles for tasks and relationships.
  • Underlying Needs – internal perceptions and expectations for how tasks and relationships should be governed.
  • Stress Behavior – ineffective behavioral styles when needs go unmet.
  • Interests – vocational and minor occupational preferences.
  • Occupational – 22 job families, 200+ job titles (linked to O*Net)
  • Management Styles – approach to managing tasks and people.
  • Work Environment – the work environment that brings the best support and fit.

Training

Coaching

We have an extensive network of professionally certified coaches with both public and private sector experience. We design our cohort coaching engagements to be responsive to your requirements and can support both short and long-term engagements. We have found that by using the cohort approach, employees being coached benefit from peer network support and the coaching is viewed more favorably than when individuals are targeted for coaching.
